What is Bifenthrin?
Bifenthrin is known for its long residual effect, meaning it continues to work on treated surfaces for months after application. It is low in odour, safe when used correctly, and approved for use in and around homes by licensed professionals.
It binds well to soil and surfaces, making it ideal for barrier treatments and termite management systems.
Always follow safety guidelines and allow appropriate drying time after treatment for best results.
What is Fipronil?
Fipronil is a powerful broad-spectrum insecticide commonly used in professional pest control, especially for treating termites, ants, cockroaches, and fleas. It works by disrupting the central nervous system of insects, resulting in slow-acting but highly effective control — giving pests time to spread it through their colony.
Fipronil is especially valued in termite barrier systems and ant baiting programs due to its transfer effect — pests unknowingly spread the chemical to others, leading to colony elimination.
When applied by a licensed technician, fipronil is safe around homes and has low toxicity to humans and pets when used correctly.
